Threads of Community
In 2023/2024, Lisa McArthur-Edwards was awarded a textiles and weaving grant supported by Central Coast Council and auspiced by Gosford Regional Community Services. Running from February to September 2024 across multiple Central Coast venues, the free program invited women 18+ to explore creativity, develop new skills, support mental wellbeing, and build community connections.

Creative Connections
Creative Connections, was a project through Wyong Neighbourhood Centre, to engage local community through the local high school to bring Chain Valley Bay Community hall some colour, vibrancy and to help with issues of vandalism to the building. Local high school students came together with a team of artists, to create a colourful art installation that utilised drain pipes to create a living wall of plants, and a new dry bed garden with painted river rocks.
IMPRESSability Project
The Impressability project empowered young people 12-25yrs with various disabilities, to explore their identities through experimental mark making, photography/ video and performance art. The aim of the project was to foster the artistic ‘identity’ of the twelve participants, and build artistic confidence.
